When you submit something, please also include any information about you that you might like us to post with it. This might

include your name, Fantasy Fanspace profile link, fantasyislove.com messageboard name, age, location, website address or other short information you might like posted. We’ll post a sentence with the information at the end of your contribution.

Disclaimers and other Generalness

Submissions may be edited for length and clarity after we receive the permission of the contributor. All submissions remain the copyright of the writer or artist. We do publish pieces that have also been published elsewhere, but only when it is also ok with whoever else published the piece. Unfortunately, FantasyIsLove.com is unable to provide financial compensation for submissions at this time. What we can give is the awesome feeling of having your work be a part of the fantasy community, and a link and note about whatever other projects you may be involved in.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for reviews, articles, and interviews all the time. If you have a piece, or an idea that you would like to submit, we are very open, our plans for the site are always growing!.

Reviews

Reviews can be on almost anything-as long as it is relevant to fantasy: books, movies, games, television programs, art, websites, clothing, other products. Generally, a review will have a brief description of whatever you’re reviewing, will tell what you liked and why, and what you didn’t like and why. Something to remember when writing a review (or anything for that matter) is: What would I like people to know?

You can email the review to us, along with a rating on a 5 point system. (1 being you hated it, 5 you loved it).

Articles

Articles can be on pretty much anything fantasy related. Some ideas to help you along:

  • Fantasy Locally – Write about local fantasy related events-your experience at renfests, conventions, your local fantasy shop, a costume ball, the local storyteller.
  • Announcing news about an upcoming book, artist, website, store, musician, film, event, etc.
  • Interviews

If you have relevant photos to submit with your article, please do so!

FAQ

Who runs this thing?

We do! Our names are Robert and Faith, and part of the About page is about us, for all of you nosy people. :)

So, where do I send the fan mail?

For more information, enquiries, submissions, love/hate mail, email the editors at: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or check out our contact page.

I saw something nifty on your site, can I snatch it?

No. You can always write and ask us about something specific though, the site design and most of the writing on this website comes from Robert and Faith McKay, the writing always says who it is by at the top, and you should write to that person to ask permission before reposting it elsewhere on the web. All other content used on this website is used with permission from it's original creators in the fantasy community, and cannot just be taken from this website, you need to write to the original creator (if you cannot find a link to their page on our site please email us!) and ask their permission. If you're not willing to write and ask them directly, then you can skip to an answer of no.

Why doesn't the site have ___?

Good question! It's quite possible that the reason something hasn't been covered is that no one has displayed interest in such a thing, please be in touch with us about your ideas and suggestions and we'll be getting back to you!

 About Robert and Faith

Robert and Faith McKay run FantasyIsLove.com. The site had been an idea of theirs for over a year when they finally put it into use, and it's been an adventure ever since. They have been married for a little while now, and love it. Robert and Faith have recently moved back to Seattle, Washington with their odd cat Chloe and hyper rabbit Dorian where they enjoy using their computers, probably too much.
