Coraline, the upcoming film based on the book by Neil Gaiman, has a brand new international movie poster out. The stop-motion 3-D animation directed by Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach) is a story about a girl who finds a secret door in her new home that leads to an alternate version of her life.
The new poster is bright on one side and dark on the other-reflecting the tale's two worlds. This poster has a much different feel than the first one with a lot more to look at. We previously posted the US poster for the film which has a simpler, darker feel.
Coraline features the voices of Dakota Fanning as Coraline and Teri Hatcher and John Hodgman as Coraline's parents. Coraline comes to US theatres February 6, 2009 and arrives in the UK March 20th.
