As a part of ABC Family's 25days of Christmas programming they're having a Harry Potter weekend Friday December 5th-7th. At the end of the weekend on the 7th they'll show an extended edition of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire that will include ten minutes of deleted scenes not in the original film. But, the real treat of this Harry Potter weekend are the exclusive first looks at Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince they'll be showing throughout.

USA Today has posted a preview of the Harry Potter weekend with information on the deleted scenes that will be shown, the new footage, and an interview with producer David Heyman.

According to USA Today the deleted scenes from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire that will be shown this Saturday include "extended segments with Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and his buddy Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and their respective flirtations, as well as a scene with Mad Eye Moody (Brendan Gleeson) and Barty Crouch (Sam Hazeldine) following the underwater sequence of the Tri-Wizard Tournament."

The footage from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will have "a look into the tortured past of Lord Voldemort/Tom Riddle (played by Frank Dillane), an introduction to the new Potions teacher, Professor Slughorn (Jim Broadbent), and scenes of budding love in the hallowed halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."

The Harry Potter weekend will also have clips from Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Michael Gambon discussing the upcoming film Half-Blood Prince film.

David Heyman, Harry Potter film producer discusses Half-Blood Prince and says, "It's not the non-stop action that some of the others are, although there is some action. It's more of an emotional film. We follow multiple stories: Harry's relationship with Ginny Weasley, Ron's relationship with Lavender Brown. … There also is Hermione's discomfort with Ron's relationship with Lavender. There's Draco Malfoy's story. And then there's Harry's relationship with (Hogwarts headmaster and professor) Dumbledore. We're following these multiple stories that enrich the canvas."
