 Season two of The Guild premieres tomorrow (November 25th) and today they posted a new season two teaser video for all of us to check out. Also today, creator Felicia Day, made an exciting announcement: season two of The Guild will be sponsored by Xbox Live and Sprint. Xbox Live will take an even more active role by distributing the show on its Xbox Live Marketplace for free in HD. In addition to being available on XBL Marketplace episodes will also be available on MSN video with subtitles available in 8 languages.
 For those that haven't seen season one it has been re-released across those platforms as well. The show is a comedic look at the world of MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) addiction. It is in short video format with each episode being approximately 4 minutes long. There are 12 episodes in each season.
This is great news for fans of the first season of the web show. The first season was supported mainly by donors and Felicia Day. With the new sponsors this season it means that the show will be available in much higher quality and more frequently. Due to budget constraints season one was released once a month. Season two will be released weekly. Fans concerned about the show losing its indie feel need not worry either. The partnership with Xbox Live was chosen explicitly because Felicia Day wanted to be able to keep full ownership and control over the shows content. All this new announcement means for the show is better distribution and higher quality videos.
