IlluxCon, fantasy illustration convention, starts today (November 6th) and goes through Sunday November 9th in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Illuxcon is the first and only convention dedicated to fantasy illustration and has the largest gathering of fantasy artists including Boris Vallejo, Julie Bell, Matt Stewart, Charles Vess, Michael Whelan, John Jude Palencar, Greg Hildebrandt and many more.

The convention is trying to keep an intimate symposium feel with personal interaction between artists and fans by limiting the number of member passes to 200.

On Sunday there will be a public day where people in the area can come in and look at the main floor exhibits from 10 AM to 5 PM. Tickets for public day are $15 at the door and free for those 18 and under. The lucky 200 people with four day passes ($150) can attend all shows, lectures, demonstrations, and discussions over the course of the symposium.

A full schedule of events can be found on the IlluxCon.com website.
