Faith Hunter's urban fantasy trilogy including the novels Bloodring, Seraphs, and Host will be coming out in mass market (currently in trade paperback) this November, December, and January.
 The post apocalyptic fantasy follows Thorn St. Croix who lives as a fugitive (hiding her magical gifts) until a policeman shows up accusing her of the kidnapping of her ex husband. Thorn sets out, using her powers, to find him-risking everything in the process. Excerpts from the books can be found on Faith Hunter's website. This week on Lucienne Diver's webblog is urban fantasy week. This past weekend the blog kicked things into gear with a Short Vignette by Faith Hunter on Thorn's early years. A native of Louisiana, Faith Hunter spent her early years on the bayous and rivers, learning survival skills and the womanly arts. She liked horses, dogs, fishing and crabbing much better than girly skills. Still does. In grade school, she fell in love with fantasy and sifi, reading five books a week. Her books to date are BLOODRING (2006) SERAPHS (May 2007) and HOST (Nov 2007). Faith now shares her life with her Renaissance Man and their dogs in a Enclave of their own.
